I first heard savannah's cover of listen in June or July of 2007.
I thought she was amazing but it wasnt til her cover of stop and stare where i like religiously watched her lol.I knew she was going to make it big. I talk to her online a lot even when she started to get real big which i though was so cool because i know she has 928309289382094203 fans , mails & comments.
luck had it that her first concert on her first tour she was in the town i live in. I was so excited so i wrote her then she told me that she was so happy that i was a fan and she said keith was trying to set up a meet and greet. I went on saturday to see her show and i bumpted into her a few hours before the show and i talked to her she said i looked familiar which i thought was really cool cuz i covered one of her songs. i took a couple pics with her. then after the show there was a meet and greet where i saw her again and talked to her she gave me an autograph & i gave her an article about her because i figured it only go print
in NJ. It was really cool shes so nice! She makes me want to try harder and harder at my own singing.
Savannah Encounter: Tori
I met her at the House of Blues in Chicago when she opened for Nat and Alex Wolff. It was so wierd.. about a half hour before I met Savannah, I noticed this familiar guy standing at the steps of the stairs to the music hall, where the concert took place, and was thinking it reminded me of the Wolff's real bassist, Chris. Soon enough, someone yelled "It's ALEX!" ha and I looked down (chris is super tall haha) and alex was there.. holding his skateboard!? haha with his hood up, which was kinda sad because obviously he was hiding his signature locks so fans wouldnt recognize him.. but then a while later Savannah did the same thing.. I thought the people playing the concert would at least come in through a back door or something.. ha but someone saw her come through the front door and called her name, and she came over to where all the people who came early were waiting, there were only like 20 of us there at that point and all my friends were asking for autographs and pictures. She started walking away when i realized i didnt get a picture yet so i hope she wasnt like annoyed that i called her back, haha but it was so worth it. the picture turned out great and savannah is really really sweet!
